This vitiated Kapha dosha causes obstructions of respiratory channels and again vitiate Vata dosha. Therefore Vata's natural flow is obstructed and again it leads to channels obstructions. All this causes narrowing of windpipe and symptoms of asthma are developed.

Lungs are the primary organs that carry out the oxygenation of the blood and remove carbon di oxide and other waste metabolites as it passes through it. This process takes place at the site of the alveoli present in the lungs.
